HAPPY DRY CLEANING DAY!

March 3 was National Dry Cleaning Day and we honored the inventor of the dry cleaning process, “dry scouring”, Thomas Jennings. We also honored this founding father of dry cleaning during Black History Month too.

Why Dry Clean?

We deserve to enjoy our cherished items of clothing and dry cleaning is a way to make them last longer. Dry cleaning protects the fabrics which can be damaged by the water and heat used by traditional washers and dryers.

Dry Clean Only

Look out for the “dry clean only” description in your garments. Other items of clothing can be washed traditionally, even if they say “dry clean”, (depending on material and your confidence in cleaning these items). However, starting at $5 per item, you can’t go wrong by bringing in your garments for Dri Clean Depot to take care of with our Wash and Fold service.
